OUR HISTORY

The history of Thierica dates back to 1945, when two enterprising brothers from the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan, started in the painting business, one developing  Thierica Equipment  and the other painting with the Thierica Display-developed equipment. It was in a garage; located on the west side of Grand Rapids, Michigan, that Ted and Harry Szczepanski began making paint masks. Their first clients were the home appliance and automotive businesses.

After a promising start and years of growth in the mid-1950s, the company relocated to No. 900 Clancy NE in Grand Rapids. Although the corporate headquarters is still in that address, Thierica Dsiplay has currently achieved a significant expansion, with several divisions in Michigan and the most recent in 2015, in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

This is how Thierica started transforming simple components into products with decorative finishes, and surely one of our products has passed through your hands. With 75 years of experience, our products exist in your day-to-day life, from household appliances, medical products, to aerospace components, that have traveled to the moon and back, followed by Class A automotive parts.

Today with hundreds of clients, a solid financial capital, and a total knowledge of molding, painting and assembly, we are more confident than ever that your project is in good hands.
